Connie Can Crop's Monthly Challenge

Hello all and hello June!!
This month in honor of Father's Day
Our monthly challenge is to create
Something masculine.

So to honor the best man I know
I made this layout for my Grandpa.
My grandpa was a volunteer firefighter my entire childhood.
He raised me and I love him dearly.
So this is for him!!

This is a poem that my Grandma saved from a newspaper clipping.
I have so much love and respect for Grandpa and all first responders.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

I had a mission this month.
My mission was to make guy themed thank you cards for work.
Lucky for me Connie sent me some super cute Authentique paper
Which was perfect for this project.
Here are a few of the designs I made with it.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Don't forget today is the last day

Alright, so on to my project.
I am a very bad hopper this month.
I have been more than a little preoccupied with life and didn't read the hopping directions.
I saw "home grown" and I ran with it.
Unfortunately I ran in the wrong direction.
Instead of flowers and gardens I did a fair layout.
After all what else screams "home grown" more than a county fair?!
So here is my offering this month.
I know it was not what was asked for but I hope you enjoy it!!

I absolutely love the fair!!
And the goats by far are my favorite!!
So with a little Simple Stories and my Cricut this is what I created.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you enjoyed my hopping mistake :)

UP next is Alicia
Here's our amazing line up in case you get lost:

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge

Hello All!!
It's that time again for
Connie Can Crop's Monthly Challenge!!
This months challenge is an inspiration.

Take a look at the picture below.
Your challenge is to create something inspired
by this beautiful spring day.

After some deep thought,
this is what I was inspired to create.

As usual I created using only scraps from my bin.
I really enjoyed making this thank you card.
It reminds me of spring in Valley.
If you have seen my post from April,
spring and tulips are a pretty big deal.

We would love to see what you create!!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

Today my sweet little niece Brynlee turns 2!!
She is so stinking cute!!

So using my Cricut I created this happy little card.
I used the writing function which I hardly ever do.
Not sure if I like it.
But it turned out OK.

Anyways happy birthday baby girl!!
Auntie loves you!!

A Little Spring For Easter

As promised last month,
here is a little more spring for you all!!

Tulip Time!!
Always a big deal in the valley!!
People literally come from miles and miles
to see all the tulips that our little valley has to offer!!
This is one of my all time favorite tulip pictures from my collection.

It really is beautiful this time of year!
If you are ever in Washington in the spring you don't want to miss this!

Here is a layout using some 2016 pictures

Again I like to go simple.
I don't like to take away from the photos.

And this little tulip here is the first time ever
cutting and writing an image on my Cricut!!
I love it!!

Happy Easter everyone!!
Thanks again for stopping by!!

Connie Can Crop's Monthly Challenge

Welcome to Connie Can Crop's Monthly Challenge!
This month's theme is "Reuse Reduce Recycle"
Create a project using something you recycled or reused
The sky's the limit!

For my project I made a birthday for my boss
using nothing but scraps from my bin.
(a little Cricut action too)
His birthday, you may have noticed was in March,
but I saved it for my challenge post.

My boss and I are huge fans of the Walking Dead
I found this fabulous zombie arm using Cricut Access
They have a couple cute zombies if you like that sort of thing
Which I certainly do!!

Thanks for stopping by today
