Never to late for fall!

Every year my  friends and I go to the same amazing pumpkin patch.
2011 was no exception I am just a little getting it posted!

One of my favorite things that have hanging around is a pole with about 30 licences plates from all different states with a church bird house and  the perfect sign shown below. I am always looking for the best way to to add this to my page and I think I finally found it!
And here is the total package!

4th Grade

Pages don't make themselves and this one has been waiting a really long time!
I always try to make school pages simple and what could be more perfect?
A simple page made with Simple Stories!

Quick, easy and cute! Just the way I like it!
I think the longest was part of this page was waiting for my stickels to dry!

First Dance

Here is a quick little post of my step daughter's first school dance.
Now correct me if I am wrong but she is in 5th grade,
when you were in school do you remember having school dances that early in school?
CRAZY!!:)
The paper that I used for this page I found in a stack a had lying around and I loved it for this!
I used the same stack for whole page.
The flowers I cut with a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die and added some pearls.

The tag is from Close To My Heart. I love these tags.
They are white to start, and you ink them with the color you want.
They catch the ink in all the right places and are fabulous!

Geek like me!

This year my husband and I went Comicon for the first time and had a BLAST!
Not the big Comicon mind you, the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle.
Here is one of the pages I created from that.
There were so many fun and amazing people to look at and fun things to do there!
If you are a fan of the TV show "The Walking Dead"
you will recognize Shane in the middle of the page taking out a zombie.
To the left we had "Dark Helmet" from "Spaceballs"
And to the right we have just a super cool chick in a comic book dress.

The paper is all Close To My Heart and couldn't be more perfect!
Here is a better look!
One of the thing I love to do is use my pictures as embellishments like I did above with Dark Helmet and below with the cool comic book chick!
I love the to cut around the pictures and use pop-up dots.
I think it looks fabulous!

Now lastly for all you "Walking Dead" fans, here is Shane!

I hope you enjoyed my geeky post today!
If you are a geek like me I am sure you did.

My-O's 32 Birthday Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to my birthday blog hop!
My actual birthday was Friday and I spent it at our
semi-annual weekend scrap retreat with the girls!
Awesome way to spend a birthday if I do say so myself!
I wanted to have a hop though and I wanted to hop with you.
Not to mention it is a great way to get rid of those Monday blues!
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the awesome projects
my crafty friends made to help celebrate my special day!

So on to the projects!
My very awesome crafty friend Alisha gave me this super cute birthday card and notepad that I thought would be perfect to share in this hop!  She always does such fun and fabulous work, I just love her cards!
The notebook is super cute too!
She found it in the dollar bin at Michael's and gave it some bling
with all the other fun items in the dollar bins.
It is so fun having talented friends!

And now, what would a birthday be without presents or a hop without candy?
I just have a few special requests in order to win!
You must show my friends and I some love!
We have all worked really hard to make this happen!
Please be a follower of my blog, and live in the continental U.S.
I hope you all like the candy selection! I picked out some of my most favorite things!!
Alright, now on to the next stop in the hop,
my good buddy Kacee McVic!

What's One More Candle Birthday Blog Hop?!

Hello and welcome to Janet's birthday hop!
Now for a word from our sponsor!

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you!
All my rowdy friends are coming over to party!
At this blog hop, it's a party!!
Our fellow blog creators have come up with awesome projects
from cards, to decor, to all sorts of ways to make your Birthday bash the best!
Here at this hop, you get all the presents!
Many of the blogs will offer their own "presents"
and I'll be giving away a Cricut Cartridge- Birthday Bash!
You should have come from Kacee's blog,
If you didn't, you might want to go back and check.
They could be wearing a lampshade if they've partied to much...

Now for my project.
My life has been crazier then normal lately and I am not gonna lie,
I don't like it!!
In my Momenta stash I have a quick card making kit so I thought,
"YES!! Quick and easy!! I need you so much"
I did add a little flair because that's just me,
but I thought the card turned out pretty cute!
Minus the Prima flowers and button that I glossied and the button,
the matting I used for the sentiment,
every came from the Momenta card making kit.
The kit has bling, flourish, boarders, chipboard and more,
I just had to add the flower!

Thanks for stopping by today!
From here you need to go to Amanda's blog
If they're getting rowdy, just join in all the fun! Have fun!
If you get lost, the entire line up will be posted at Janet's (http://janetscreativeworld.blogspot.com/ )
She'll be checking id's... just kidding... this is a family friendly event! And Happy Birthday to you! I'm either early or extremely late in wishing you a Happy Birthday,
but it's the thought that counts!

Happy Birthday Sheridan!!

Happy Birthday My Sheridan!

This is for my sister in law who is closer to 30 then 20 today!
She loves her some cherries, animal prints
and black, red and white are her favorite colors.
So you guessed it, this card is perfect!
This card is ALL Momenta!
They have so many different products to choose from!
The card itself was actually out of kit that I decided to break up.
The cherries on top are awesome sparkly rub-ons
which showed up great against the black background.
The cherries on the bottom are cute little stickers that also sparkle.
The strip across the card is really cute piece of paper
I had left over from my last Momenta card.
I did a fun little folding trick that almost makes it look like ribbon.

So there you have it!
A little glaze pen over my Cricut cut happy birthday to make it shine
and we are all good!!

Lifes 3 Ring Circus!

This past week has been all sorts of crazy,
and not just my life but every one's around me.
With that being said I was inspired to make this cute little card
 using my Momenta goodies.

This card is 99.0% Momenta 1% Twinery!
I used paper from my "Family Outings" Stack.
So super fun and great for so many things!!
I made this card for a friend who is going through a tough time
so I just wanted it to be fun and colorful.

I used my old school Creative Memories circle cutters to make my circles.
Ya know if you don't have those you should REALLY check them out.
I have had them since the dawn of time (1999 for me)
and I love love love them!
I have a great CM consultant. Check her out if you are interested.
I  also used a lot of pop up dots on this card.
It needed a lot of pop.
It is a really simple card but I love it!!

Thanks Momenta for making such cute paper!!

Today spring has sprung but in the pacific northwest
winter is trying take over and it is winning!
For this hop I did not make my card because winter took me out!
Crash, bang, BOOM! Slipped on some ice,
hit my head, hurt my hip and messed my knee.
No good!!

So I went through my archives and found a card that my awesome friend Alisha made me that was perfect this hop. Plus It's nice to showcase a someones besides my own. So here is Alisha's fabulous card!
Alisha is a CTMH consultant and this was part of monthly card club.
I love this card, it is super cute!
Thanks Alisha!!

St Patrick's Day Hop Day 2

Welcome, Welcome and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Thanks for joining us for day two of our hop.
If you are here from Melissa's blog then you are in the right place.
If you are here just because you love me that's awesome
but you should really start from the beginning at Angela's blog!
Since this is a 2 day hop I have projects and CANDY for each day!
I am giving away 2 $10 gift cards to Joann Fabrics
1 card each day of the hop.
I will be using random.org to pick my winners and here is the fun part!
You can win both days! If random.org likes you, then random.org likes you!
To win you just have to comment on one day or both to better your chances,
and be a fabulous follower of my blog!
Super easy!!

Did that intro look a lot like yesterdays? If so then you are correct! LOL!!
I didn't want to rewrite it!!
So if you are still with us on this fine Sunday morning
I am gonna assume the dark beer and "Irish car bombs" did not get the best of you!
Now on with the show!
This is my first and last attempt at making a corset card.
This is supposed to be the back view, hence the tattoo. (That part I actually)
The sentiment on the inside of the card is super cute.
I am just to so sure about the rest.
It was a learning process and I do have a friend that will love it.
If you have any tips on how I could maybe improve the bodice please, suggestions are welcome!

Now on to Michelle's blog! Happy hopping!!

"Time to taste the rainbow"
I went to my local scrapbook store (Stampadoodle) and used their die cut machine
to make this fabulous little box.
I took the scrap paper I had left over, matched up clovers on the front of the box,
stickled and popped them up for a little depth.
Used my Scrap Happy glue and my Bakers Twine to make the handles into a rainbow
and attached a little shamrock off the side.
Then I of course added the Skittles so that I could
"Taste the rainbow"

That is all for today!
Make sure you join me tomorrow for some more Irish fun!
Now hop over to Michelle's blog for more good times!

A Nontraditional St Patrick's Day Post!

I have finally rejoined my friends on the JME Creations DT!
I am so happy to be back! I have missed a few posts this year
but Jamie and the girls have been very forgiving;)
This weeks task was St Patrick's Day,
what I loved is that Jamie mentioned using colors like red, pink
or whatever inspires you.
I feel like I have done a lot of St Patty's day projects
(they just all haven't been posted yet)
so I was so excited to do something different
I made this using Cosmo Cricket paper that I bought from a super awesome website
Check it out! Great prices, fast shipping, you'll love it!!
I used my Bakers Twine, cute little clothes pin and cut some shamrocks.
I love the pinks and yellows! I did add some green skittles for good measure,
after all, what would St Patrick's day be without a little green?
