For my project I made a birthday for my boss

using nothing but scraps from my bin.

(a little Cricut action too)

His birthday, you may have noticed was in March, 

but I saved it for my challenge post.

My boss and I are huge fans of the Walking Dead

I found this fabulous zombie arm using Cricut Access

They have a couple cute zombies if you like that sort of thing

Which I certainly do!!

and last but not least some wooden leaves I found at the scrapbook expo.

The Loss Of Someone Near and Dear

One March 18, 2014 we lost a very special friend.

Curtis Van Alen Joyce passed away doing what he loved, kayaking down the Colorado River.

He left behind his wife of six months, one of my dearest childhood friends.

His light shined so brightly with such an amazing soul.

He still lives on in all of us.

This was an awesome picture taken at his funeral with his family in the middle of the heart. 

Here is the layout I made to remember his wonderful life. 

I used the photo of the heart above as an embellishment.
The pictures above are of Curt's favorite river in White Salmon where he was a rafting tour guide. 

This layout is Curt and my dear friend Melissa celebrating their love.

Gone but NEVER forgotten. Always in hearts. We love you Curt Joyce!!

This card was made with scraps from my bin,

The stamp set is Peachy Keen.

Throw in a little cork washi tape and some twine and boom!! You have a card!!

Anniversary Love!!

I have made layouts for every anniversary.

This is from 2014, so that makes what...8 years?!

This is one of my most favorite layouts with Echo Park, my favorite paper. 

I decided to highlight this paper with a little Twine, 

OK, so may be a lot of Twine!!

It was a page that took forever but I must say the end result is fabulous!!

I wish the pictures did it justice!!

Lifes 3 Ring Circus!

This past week has been all sorts of crazy,

and not just my life but every one's around me.

With that being said I was inspired to make this cute little card

 using my Momenta goodies.

This card is 99.0% Momenta 1% Twinery!

I used paper from my "Family Outings" Stack.

So super fun and great for so many things!!

I made this card for a friend who is going through a tough time

so I just wanted it to be fun and colorful.

I used my old school Creative Memories circle cutters to make my circles. 

Ya know if you don't have those you should REALLY check them out.

I have had them since the dawn of time (1999 for me)

and I love love love them!

I have a great CM consultant. Check her out if you are interested.

I  also used a lot of pop up dots on this card.

It needed a lot of pop.

It is a really simple card but I love it!!

St Patrick's Day Hop

Super easy!!

"Time to taste the rainbow"

 I went to my local scrapbook store (Stampadoodle) and used their die cut machine

to make this fabulous little box. 

I took the scrap paper I had left over, matched up clovers on the front of the box,

stickled and popped them up for a little depth.

Used my Scrap Happy glue and my Bakers Twine to make the handles into a rainbow 

and attached a little shamrock off the side. 

Then I of course added the Skittles so that I could

"Taste the rainbow"

A Nontraditional St Patrick's Day Post!

I have finally rejoined my friends on the JME Creations DT!

I am so happy to be back! I have missed a few posts this year 

but Jamie and the girls have been very forgiving;) 

This weeks task was St Patrick's Day,

what I loved is that Jamie mentioned using colors like red, pink 

or whatever inspires you. 

 I feel like I have done a lot of St Patty's day projects 

(they just all haven't been posted yet)

 so I was so excited to do something different

I made this using Cosmo Cricket paper that I bought from a super awesome website

My Scraps And More.

I used my Bakers Twine, cute little clothes pin and cut some shamrocks. 

I love the pinks and yellows! I did add some green skittles for good measure,

after all, what would St Patrick's day be without a little green?

The Greeting Farms "Flirty Anya" wishing you a Happy Birthday

 with a Lawn Fawn 5 tier cake. (1 tier for each decade)

I know it is winter, but I wanted this card to bright and shiny!

No time for drag! It's time to be 50 and fab!!

As 2011 comes to end so does this stint of the JME Creations Design Team.

This was my first experience with a design team and it was AMAZING!

Thank you Jamie for having me. It was truly a great experience. 

For my last post I decided to ring in the new year with a nice little Bo Bunny card.

I love this paper! I always feel like I am cheating when I do a Bo Bunny card.

They seem to kinda just make themselves.
