Happy Valentines Day My Love!

For my 200 follower giveaway click here!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

My husband always whines about the "Hallmark" holidays
but I always love a good excuse to get creative!
(not that I need one)

I had an idea for my husband's card this but when I sat down to make it something entirely different came out.
I have no idea what I was thinking.
I was all over the place with this one! Here it is!!
Hang in there, I know there is a lot going on.
So the heart and my lovely Kenny K. stamp stand out.
The too hot 2 handle not so much,
but I assure you it is there.
I used my Rock Princess Cart
to make this awesome heart and my sentiment.
Instead of using green for the vines I wanted to use my background paper which is Momenta and I love it!!
I am kind of obsessed with that look.
To me it looks like I cut everything around the background paper.
That is why I did my sentiment the way I did.
I am thinking now I should have maybe changed it.
It is however for my husband and I don't think he will notice.
Here is a better picture of the sentiment.
Not so bad up close.
You can also see some of the details in the stamp.
I used my glaze pen for the piping in her outfit and her lips.
Stickles for the buttons down the front.
Not that she needed it but I just wanted to give her a little kick:)

Hope everyone has an awesome Valentines Day!

JME Creations Design Team Post! Christmas Time! A Winner too!

Christmas time is coming! Are you ready?
If not, you have 6 more days! You can do it!!

Christmas time, a time for family, friends, and holiday parties.
What better to wear to a Christmas party then a little red dress?
What better place to stand then under the mistletoe?

My recipe:
DCWV-All Dressed Up
Greeting Farm's Flirty Anya
CTMH sentiment
Sophisticated Cricut Cart
Copic's
Twine
Glossy accents

This was "take 2" with my Copic's, man I can't wait to take some classes!!
I love this Greeting Farm stamp, in fact I love all their stamps!
They are super cute and great for Copic's.
After I colored little Flirty Anya I used some glossy accents to spice up her flower, dress and shoes.
I think she looks pretty spiffy!

My mistletoe was created using my Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cricut Cart.
I didn't have a cart that actually cut mistletoe and to be honest I wasn't even sure what it looked like.
I ended up Googling mistletoe and my TC Cart was the perfect solution.

I really hope you enjoyed my card!  I sure do!

Now for a winner!
The winner of the JME Creations Tree-licious blog hop is........

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Susana!

This card again has a lot of firsts for me.
This is my first step card
and my first time using Copics (For the most part)
I think I need some advice before I tackle this type of card again.

This is where I need your help.
I pretty much just winged it for the measurements of this card.
Can anyone share with my some accurate measurements?

As for my super foxy Whimsy Stamp

Luscious Linda

I am taking some Copic Classes in the beginning of the year!
I can't wait to learn how to really use my markers!

My cupcakes are Teresa Collins stamps
that I scored on Scrapbook Steals!
I love them!

Making this card was both fun and challenging.
I do think it turned out pretty cute for my first attempt.
I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Lawnscaping Challenge Post!

I bought my first set of Lawn Fawn stamps about a month ago.  I went to the Olympic Game farm with my husband for our 5 year anniversary.  There was the cutest raccoon there and I got some great pictures of him! So when I saw the Lawn Fawn Critters In The Forest stamp set, I had to have it!! When I saw the Lawnscaping challenge I had to create it!  The challenge is all about dimension and it went right along with my layout idea.
Here is my Lawn Fawn layout!

I used the tree stamp and a bunch of green scrap paper to make my forest.
I used my Cuddle Bug embossing folders on some of the trees and the clouds.
I added some cute little stickers I found at Joanns to finish the look.

I used my pop-up dots to give my forest a little bit of depth.

I stamped a dragon fly and a little mushroom.
To finish it off,
I added my little Copic colored raccoon.

I really like the way it turned out and I hope you do too.
I also wanted to take the time to say something about the Lawn Fawn Clear Stamps.
They stamp amazing! I was so impressed by how clean and crisp they stamp.
I have nothing bad and everything good to say about the quality.
I am a Lawn Fawn fan for life!
They are a stampers dream come true!

Thanks Lawn Fawn!!
