Tips for Tuesday!

This post is dedicated to a very special friend of mine!
If you are reading this, you know who you are!

Don't wait until the last minute!

Whether you are going to an all day corp or a weekend retreat, don't wait until the last minute to prepare!
Here are some tips that help me get on my way.

1.  Know what you are going to work on.
I like to have my pictures, paper and embellishments picked out and together. Organization is key!

2.  Pack ahead to time
Don't wait until the night before or the morning of. You don't want to rush and forget something.

3.  Talk to your friends to see what they are bringing
I like to talk to my cropping buddy Alisha to see what she is bringing.  The goal is the make the transporting of your stuff as painless as possible.  To make this happen we discuss what supplies we need and we split up the load. For example we both stamp.  It really isn't necessary for both of us to bring all our stamps and ink.  We split the load and share. It makes life a lot easier.

If you have any tips to make life easier let me know! I would love to hear what you have to say!

  5. Hi Shannon!

Thank you for hopping on Jo's birthday blog hop and following my blog. i'm a new follower for you also! (I hope it showed up..blogger is given me a headache today..lol) I look forward to checking out your beautiful blog! You are so right when you say organization is key. I also try not to take too many projects. I figure if I run out of something to work on I turn to my retreat buddies to challenge me with something!
